Printables

Printables are digital party decorations or designs delivered in .pdf format, ready for you to download, print, and use. They’re an easy, creative way to add a handmade touch to your celebration — right from home.

If your printable includes personalization, I customize it for you and send it via email a few days after purchase. Depending on the file size, I might also use Google Drive or Dropbox, but the delivery method always ensures your file arrives complete and ready to go.

You’ll get a high-quality printable file that’s ready to print, cut, and transform into beautiful handmade decor — crafted by you, with love.

Because handmade magic starts with a good printable.

No — all personalized printable  designs are customized by me and sent ready to print.

Why is that?
Because it’s the best way to ensure high-quality printable party decorations. I use professional software and premium fonts, which aren’t always available to everyone. This way, you get a file that matches exactly what you see in my shop — beautifully aligned, perfectly sized, and celebration-ready.

It’s the extra care I put into every design, so you can simply download, print, and start creating something special.

To open your printable party files, you’ll need Adobe Acrobat Reader — a free program that works on computers, tablets, and mobile devices.

You can download it for free from Adobe’s official site.

Once installed, you’ll be able to open and view your .pdf files exactly as designed, with the correct fonts, layout, and print quality.

Tip: For the best experience, we recommend opening your files on a desktop or laptop. Some mobile apps may not display fonts or layout correctly.

All printable files are sent in A4 size — the standard paper size used in most home printers. If you have a color printer at home, you can print them yourself, right from your desk.

If not, any local print shop or digital printing service will be able to print your files quickly and with high quality.

Some products may also come in A3 size (twice as large as A4). I usually recommend this larger format for welcome signs, patterned paper, or certain boxes that are too big to fit on a single A4 sheet. A3 files require a compatible printer or can be easily printed at your local print shop.

Tip: Whether you print at home or in a shop, using high-quality paper makes a huge difference in the final look.

For party decorations like banners, cards, and cake toppers, I always recommend using cardstock paper — also known as coated or illustration paper. Look for a weight of at least 250 gsm to give your printables strength, stability, and a professional finish.

If you’re wrapping small gifts or need a more flexible feel, go for a lighter weight around 150 gsm.

Cardstock usually comes in matte or glossy finishes — you can choose what best fits your style. Personally, I’m in love with a type of paper called Rives Designs. It’s delicate and comes with a beautiful texture similar to watercolor paper — perfect for wedding invitations, baptism cards, or any elegant stationery. You can usually find it at local print shops.

Planning to use your printables for journaling or scrapbooking?
Cardstock works great for that too — just choose the weight you feel most comfortable with.

Oh, and you can also print your designs on sticker paper to create adorable DIY labels or decorations!

Tip: Always test a single print first to check colors and finish. It makes all the difference.

Let me start by saying, I love printables. But beyond my passion, they’re an excellent choice for creating high-quality, personalized decorations without breaking the bank. The best part? You can create beautiful designs no matter where you are — all you need is a pair of scissors and a printer.

Printables offer the freedom to customize your celebration, and there’s something incredibly special about making things with your own hands. There’s a unique joy in creating the very items that will tell the story of your event. The personal touch of DIY decorations makes any celebration feel more meaningful and memorable.

It might sound like a silly question, but trust me, it’s not! A good pair of scissors is essential — and definitely don’t use the same ones you keep in the kitchen (yikes, no one wants stains!).

For banners, cards, or anything with straight lines, I recommend to use a ruler and a craft knife. And don’t forget to place a cutting mat or an old magazine under the paper. Protect your surface, always.

If you’re into creating with printables regularly, you might want to treat yourself to some cutting tools that can speed up the process. I’ve designed my printables to fit these sizes perfectly.

For example, you can use a 2-inch circle punch to cut out round toppers — I recommend the EK Tools punch, available on Amazon, Mercado Libre, or in Buenos Aires at Artesana Taller.

For the holes in banners or tags, my favorite new tool is the EK Tools 1/16-inch hole punch — it’s seriously amazing.

You can find all of my tool recommendations in the Favorites tab. That’s where I also share my latest finds.

SVG Files

Cutting files are digital downloads specifically designed to be used with home cutting machines like the Silhouette Cameo, Brother’s ScanNCut, or the Cricut Explore.

This amazing world of DIY cutting—which has taken off in recent years and is becoming a staple in many creative studios—lets you craft not just with paper, but also with materials like vinyl, sticker sheets, fabric, and more.

The SVG format (Scalable Vector Graphics) is a flexible, high-quality vector file type. Unlike standard image formats, SVGs don’t lose clarity when resized—making them perfect for precision cuts with your cutting machine.

If you’re familiar with scrapbooking tools, think of cutting files as a next-level upgrade to traditional punches. They offer more freedom—letting you resize, customize, and create beautiful, professional-looking results using the design software included with your cutting machine.

Yes! All cutting files in the shop come in multiple formats to ensure compatibility:

  • .SVG files – perfect for Cricut and ScanNCut

  • .DXF files – ideal for Silhouette Cameo users

  • .PDF – for those who love to craft by hand using papercut techniques (no cutting machine needed!)

And if you’re a Cameo girl like me? I’ve got you covered with a bonus .studio3 file to make your crafting even easier.

Each listing includes details of what’s included so you know exactly what to expect.

Papercut is the timeless art of cutting paper by hand. With roots in ancient Chinese traditions, this technique transforms sheets of paper into delicate, detailed designs using nothing more than a sharp blade—typically a precision craft knife or scalpel.

Today, papercut has found a new home in modern DIY culture, perfect for crafters who love handmade decor, storytelling through design, and turning simple paper into meaningful keepsakes.

Every cut file product in my shop includes a printable PDF version you can use for papercutting.

To get started, you’ll need:

  • A printed copy of the design

  • A cutting mat or any protective surface

  • A precision craft knife or scalpel

  • And, of course, a bit of patience and love for handmade art

You can check out my favorite tools [linked here] to see exactly what I use.

If you’re new to papercutting, I highly recommend watching a tutorial before diving in. My own first steps were guided by the incredible artists Ro from Pinky Minky and Guille from Espacio Papel. Visit their Instagram accounts to discover the magic behind this delicate craft.

One of the biggest advantages of cutting machine files is their flexibility. You can resize, adjust line thickness, or even choose specific parts of the design to cut.

If the file includes text, you won’t be able to change the wording, but you can choose to cut only part of the design.

As for the PDF versions, they’re not editable and come ready to print on A4 paper. But here’s a little tip:
If you have access to the SVG file, you can take it to a local print shop and request a custom-sized print, instead of using the PDF version. That way, you still get the look you want, perfectly sized for your project.

You can use any type of paper with these designs—solid-colored sheets, printed patterns, or even textured cardstock. What matters most is the paper weight (or “gsm”), especially if your final piece needs to stand on its own.

For decorations like freestanding shapes or boxes, I recommend using paper heavier than 240 gsm to make sure your design holds its shape beautifully.

For garlands, I normally use 160 gsm.

Now, if you’re crafting for decor elements, paper flowers, or detailed papercut art, here’s a key tip:
Go for dyed-through paper (also called “mass-colored”). Why? Because unlike cardstock, these papers have the same color all the way through—which means no distracting white edges after cutting. So clean, so pro.

My personal favorites?
Try Fabriano Elle Erre or Canson Mi-Teintes—affordable, high quality, and pure joy to work with. You can find them at art supply stores like Thesis or Teorema if you are in Buenos Aires, online via Mercado Libre. In Ireland, you can always trust Amazon, but shops like Eason, Art n Hobby and Evans carry some of them.

Cutting files are an amazing extra resource for paper crafting. They’re pre-designed and thoroughly tested, so every line and cut is clean and precise—letting your design shine just the way it should.

They’re perfect for adding extra charm to your party decorations, scrapbooking layouts, or—my personal favorite—for journaling, especially if you’re not super confident with hand-lettering or illustration (yet!).

These files let you focus on the fun of creating, without the pressure of designing from scratch.

So go ahead—try them out and bring a new layer of magic to your paper projects!
